Brendon Bates

Brendon is a playwright, actor, and educator from the Boston area. His full-length and one-act plays have been presented in numerous cities throughout the U.S. over the past decade. In 2003, he received the Excellence in Playwriting Award at the NYC International Fringe Theater Festival, and his work appears in multiple anthologies published by Applause Books, NY Theater Experience, and Indie Theater Now. Having appeared on stage and screen through a wide-range of productions over the past several years, his most recent credit includes SEE GIRL RUN (Phase 4 Films) starring Robin Tunney and Adam Scott. Brendon graduated from the Two-Year Professional Actor's Program at The New Actors Workshop in Manhattan, where he trained under Mike Nichols, George Morrison, and Paul Sills. Excited to be a part of ImprovBoston's community, Brendon's primary source of inspiration comes from his wife, Kristen, and son, Andrew.
