Pete Fenzel has performed improv comedy at ImprovBoston, other Boston-area venues and national improv festivals since 2007 in a variety of troupes, including Marjean, Neutrino Video Projects Boston, Unexpected Turbulence, Quixote Ugly, Channel Surfing, Back By Popular Demand, Uniprov: The World's First Unicycle Improv Group, and the summer cast of the ImprovBoston mainstage. He has studied improv performance since 2004, starting at the Upright Citizen's Brigade Theatre in New York City, and continuing with the Magnet Theatre, ImprovBoston, and elsewhere. Pete coaches the "On Deck" Harold team for up-and-coming Harold performers in development.
Pete is a founding writer and podcaster for the comedy / pop culture criticism Web site www.overthinkingit.com, and his one-act play, "The Bad News Bearers, or Kakangelos the Messenger" was commissioned for the New Haven Arts and Ideas festival in 2007 and presented at New Works New Haven at the Long Wharf Theatre in 2008. Pete is a graduate of Yale University, where he studied with performance artist and playwright Deb Margolin, and is an alumnus of the New Players Company in his hometown of Ridgewood, New Jersey.
